Packages from Mom... (Blue Star Mothers of NC - Charlotte Region: care packages)

When: Friday, April 9, 2021 - Monday, May 31, 2021 Join the Blue Star Mothers of NC Charlotte Region and Carolinas Freedom Foundation as we "gather up" items of comfort & care to send to the men and women currently serving in the U.S. Military...

The list is as follows: 

Food items:
Crackers (all flavors)
Hard candies (in the summer), soft chocolate candies (in the winter)
Peanuts, cashews, pistachios, individual bags of popcorn 
Fritos, individual Potato chips (small bags)
Powder drinks (any flavor) 
Cookies (any kind)
Raisins, craisins, any dried fruit
Peanut butter and jelly (in plastic containers)
Packages of tuna, salmon, etc
Top Ramen Noodles  
Hot Sauce - if you can find plastic containers 

Non-food items:
Plastic Razors, shaving cream
Sanitary napkins, feminine products 
Bras, panties for females (all sizes)
Underwear to include t-shirts for men (white only)
Sweat/shirts & pants (grey or navy blue only)
Lotion, shampoos (plastic containers only)
Soap, body wash (plastic only)
Mouthwash (alcohol-free)

Note:
Cake's and donuts are only sent in the winter due to mold.
No hardback books, they are too heavy.
We get hundreds of pairs of socks donated to us, but you can contribute as well.

Postal fees can be expensive so we contact a Reserve or active unit to find out when they are deploying and take items to their deployment briefs. On the one size one fee box, the Post Office does give $1.00 off.
