A Time Honored Tradition Continues
US Airways to sponsor 2011 Salute to Veterans Parade

Each year, the Carolinas Freedom Foundation sponsors the annual “Salute to Veterans” Parade to coincide with Veterans Day and the Carolinas Freedom Foundations’ Freedom Breakfast. The event showcases local middle and high school bands, the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program units, active military units, antique cars and veteran organizations.

In 2010, more than 2,000 participants gathered to honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
