2024 Patriotism Bowls

Together we'll celebrate Patriot Day with patriotism and pageantry that transforms a high school football game into a college bowl-like atmosphere. The 2024 Patriotism Bowl honors first-responders by recognizing the anniversary of 9/11.

Together we'll honor the service of veterans and first responders at the 13th annual Carolinas Patriotism Bowl as part of the mission of Carolinas Freedom Foundation to inspire patriotic citizenship in our youth and community.

Join us as a local game becomes "the greatest spectacle in high school football"; past spectacles include:

• 2012's inaugural event featured the second-ever flyover at a high school football game
• the first nighttime parachute jump at a high school football game took place at the 2013 bowl
• 2018 treated 7 area high schools to a flyover resulting in a Guinness World Record awarded to Carolinas Freedom Foundation for the 'Most sporting event flyovers in a single flight path'!
• the first "Battle of the Borders" went down in 2019 between NC host South Point HS and SC's triumphant Clover HS
• 2020 was a challenging year, but by late October two South Carolina teams played an overtime game to an enthusiastic crowd in Fort Mill

• For the 20th anniversary of 9-11 and the 10th Patriotism Bowl, the Charlotte Catholic Cougars took on a team from Georgia. The Titans of  Blessed Trinity HS took the 2021 trophy home to Roswell, GA.
