Salute to Veterans Parade
The West Mecklenburg High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) program gratefully acknowledges the honor and privilege of marching in the Carolinas Freedom Foundation's annual "Salute to Veterans" Parade for over two decades. Through solemn cadences, our unit steadfastly honors the selfless sacrifice and service of our Veterans. We look forward to continuing our tradition of marching in the "Salute to Veterans" parade for many years to come!

Collins Freedom Foundation Salute to Veterans Parade kicks off a week of celebrations and honor events as it Steps On Tryon St at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 8th.
More than 2,000 participants gather to honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
The event showcases high school bands, pipe/drum/bugle corps, Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC), Scout troops, active military and first-responder units, motorcycles and classic vehicles, K9 service & Equine therapy groups, corporate veteran employees, veteran organizations, and more!
