Veteran-Owned GIANT University City has generously donated two electric bikes to Carolinas Freedom Foundation and we are extending an exclusive opportunity to Win the Pair of Electric Bikes!

ONLY 50 Tickets are Available
Each Contribution of $100 = One Raffle Ticket

A maximum of 50 tickets are available with registration on a first-come/first-served basis through midnight 12/8 (or until all 50 tickets have been secured). On Friday, December 9, 2022, the 50 entries will be placed in a bowl, and the winner randomly drawn by a GIANT University City representative. You do NOT have to be present to win this Exclusive Offer for a Pair of Electric Bikes ($4800 total MSRP). Once contacted (via email/text), the winner has 24 hours to confirm and make arrangements for pick-up on Saturday 12/10. Should the original winner not meet confirmation requirements, a new winner will be drawn from the remaining entries, repeating this confirmation process until a winner meets all requirements. Each $100 Raffle Ticket = a 1/50 chance to win.


GIANT University City and its veteran owner Shane Hockensmith have been long-time supporters of Carolinas Freedom Foundation, specifically funding the perennial youth leadership program Flags in Classrooms which provides United States flags and veteran-led flag etiquette training to classrooms and schools across the Carolinas.   


The matching (Asphalt Green) pair (one adult small, one adult regular) of GIANT  MOMENTUM - VOYA E+ 3 electric bikes (each with MSRP of $2400) will be awarded to one winner, the name drawn on Thursday, December 8th. The bikes must be picked up from GIANT University City (8528 University City Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28208) during regular business hours before the close of business on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022. The raffle is for the two bikes as stated, with no bike or cash substitutions.


Contribution Notes:   Founded in 1995 by former POW and retired Air Force Colonel Quincy Collins, Carolinas Freedom Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with TIN56-2024977. Raffle ticket contributions count toward the Carolinas Freedom Foundation Annual Board-Giving Requirement but do not necessarily meet IRS standards for charitable giving; Check with your tax professional regarding your individual circumstance. The winner will receive a form-1099 MISC reflecting the wholesale value of the bikes.
